     Definitive Imagery IS Dave Engle. Dave is a commercial photographer based in Colorado who specializes in promoting people, product and service. He uses studio and location photography to take your idea and turn it into a visual representation that demonstrates it's value.

                                          - About the Photographer -

     Dave Engle has a BFA in Photography and BS in Psychology; he draws on each of them to incorporate that intangible sentiment in his imagery. His passion and vision for photography continue to grow everyday when he opens his eyes and observes his environment.

     His approach to photography projects parallels his approach to mountain climbing. Significant planning, organization and thought go into his projects. And a great deal of skill and creativity are required. Each mountain, like each project, requires a unique approach. The top of the mountain is only part of the goal, getting back down safely is when he knows that project is complete. Colorado has 58 peaks above 14,000 feet; Dave has stood on top of 33 of those peaks (and gotten back down safely).

     “Photography covers such a wide gamut of opportunities. It’s not unusual to find me in any given month shooting a wedding, portraits or product in the studio and then going to a location. After all the post production is complete, I will often practice my fine art…it helps keep me fresh and creative”.

     Dave has been a photographer for more than a decade shooting commercial work as well as weddings and fine art. It is his intention to convey a message, feeling and emotion through his imagery.
